This book is fantastic. It covers everything you need to know about your Nikon D60 SLR camera. It is a lot more fun reading this book than reading your manual, especially because there are 321 pages to read, and the reading IS fun. Chapters include:

SETTING UP YOUR NIKON D60:ANATOMY OF THE NIKON'SD60 MENUS,
GETTING THE RIGHT EXPOSURE,

WORKING WITH LENSES,
MAKING LIGHT WORK FOR YOU,
USEFUL SOFTWARE FOR YOUR NIKON D60, and
NIKON D60:TROUBLESHOOTING AND PREVENTION
This manual has many close up pictures of all of the functional dials and buttons, which make it very easy to see and understand what and where to find the right settings you will want for particular pictures. Explanations are in layman's terms, and so it was very easy for me to understand and follow David's instructions. I suggest any newbie (like me) or intermediate photographer to buy this manual as it is a perfect teaching tool for the above mentioned persons.

The book does a good review of how to use the different toola available in the camera.
It is better explained than the user manual.
Defenitely good for a beginner like me.

I have been away from photography for a while and this book made my return painless. It is written in plain language and is much easier to follow than the owners manual. Skip the "all about me" section up front and go right to the first chapter. Worth the price!

I just received this book on the 29th of May and have been reading a little bit each day. It is a real big help for beginer who have a D60 Digital camera. I recomed this product.
